The Yamaha MCR-330 is a micro component system that produces high quality audio. The speaker terminals are gold-plated for increased connectivity and screw type for secure connections. The two 20 watt speakers use a 2-way bass-reflex system to provide a powerful bass sound, and an extra subwoofer output is available.

A docking port on the top for an iPod allows for full control of the external device via an included remote. Input can also come from a top USB port or the FM tuner. The CD player displays CD text on the front of the unit. A high gloss piano black finish is used on the speakers, and the front panel and knobs are made of fingerprint-resistant aluminum.
