Users install M-crew Server software on all their PCs, which defines that computer as a server to work with the NAS-CZ1. Of course, users first have to connect the NAS-CZ1 to a local area network via either Ethernet (RJ-45) or a wireless LAN adapter. Once complete, users can browse their PC music collections directly from the NAS-CZ1, as well as create custom playlists, build a user profile, and even play music from the PC (e.g. Windows Media Player, IE) through the unit. Most notable about the NAS-CZ1 is its support for a wide range of music codecs, including MP3, WAV, ATRAC3 Plus, WMA, and even AAC. Additional features of the Sony NAS-CZ1 network audio player include a CD player, an AM/FM tuner, and an analog input for connecting MP3 players.

you cannot have songs with titles using Asian characters. So any Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc. songs will not play on the NAS-CZ1.
