Sony MHC-GX99

The Sony MHC-GX99 is a mini 2.1 channel speaker shelf system. With the small size, but still decent power output, the MHC-GX99 provides a decent way to get better quality audio without buying an expensive system, making it a good choice for bedrooms, offices, or the living room if you don't want to connect it to a TV.

It has 3.5mm input jack for MP3 players, computers, and other devices. Despite its small size, it still has a 3-way bass reflex system, a type of speaker enclosure that includes a "tuned" port to provide better bass response by releasing some extra energy created by the internal movement of the woofer cone. The regular speakers have a dual-driver system that splits the audio into a woofer and tweeter driver, in addition to the subwoofer. An AM/FM tuner is built in, as well as a 3-CD exchanger than can read CD-R/RW and playback MP3 files.
