RCA RS2130i
$130.00
Released January, 2001
The Pros:Audio is clear and well defined. Capable of enough volume to fill medium sized rooms. Looks nice and impressive on the shelf.
The Cons:Can hear the CD changer loudly clicking when discs are changed. Pauses between tracks, gets a bit irritating on live albums. Volume knob is tricky to work with, really touchy.
The RS2130i was a mid-range shelf system from RCA, now discontinued. The 160W unit includes a Universal Dock for iPod, connected by a cable to the main unit, that allows for iPod charging and playback.
