The Philips MCM275 is a trendy and wall-mountable stereo shelf system designed for playing CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs. A step up from the MC235B, the Philips MCM275 adds along support for MP3 & WMA files, and even includes a USB port for playing music directly from a portable USB device.

Like its peer, the MCM275 relies on Digital Sound Control to deliver numerous optimized music-style settings, not to mention frequency customization for manually adjusting sound balance. Plus, the MCM275 also maintains a low 10W power output, but supplies a Dynamic Bass Boost for better low-frequency amplification. Additional features of the Philips MCM275 shelf system include an AM/FM tuner, a 23-key wireless remote, and the ability to connect to an MP3 player via the Auxiliary input jack on the rear of the system.
