The models that follow it in the series, the Panasonic SC-HC05 and Panasonic SC-HC55, don't have louder power output but do include a number of streaming services not found here. As with all models in the series, this model uses a slim, flat design that fits on a narrow shelf. It can also be mounted directly on a wall. The speaker is a dual passive radiator built to distribute sound over a wider area. In addition to the CD player and iPod dock, this unit has an AM/FM receiver.
