Panasonic SC-AK47

$329.95 Released September, 1999

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Excellent bass support, great for loud thumping beats. Highs are crisp and clear, percussion comes through great. Stylish design looks impressive n the shelf.

The Cons:Changes discs very slowly, often sounds like it isn't quite working right. Can't turn it up too high or clipping in the treble range is severe. Turning the subwoofers "off" allows them to still emit sound, but it's muddy and distorted.

The Panasonic SC-AK47 is a mid-range to high-end shelf system with a five-disc CD changer. It features five direct-open keys, dual auto-reverse cassette decks and dual three-way speakers which feature 7-inch "super woofers.
