Onkyo CS-315S
$299.00
Released October, 2001
The Pros:Good amount of inputs and outputs for a micro system. Quality build--heavy, solid construction. AM and FM receivers offer excellent reception--something that is often overlooked in modern systems.
The Cons:Included speakers are only above average which is disappointing at this price point. Volume limit is fairly low due to the amp's 20W rating. Speakers are very big for a shelf system.
Onkyo produces the CS-315S CD receiver system as a premium powerful player. This unit is basically the same as the CS-415, equipped with Wide Range Amplifier Technology (WRAT), promising to present the nuance and dynamics of all music sources.
