The Memorex MX4137 is a micro system that handles both radio and CD for a moderate price. The digital AM/FM tuner comes with standard station presets and the CD player can handle CD-R/CD-RW. The features are fairly simple, with playback modes including repeat one, repeat all, random and program, while the outside connections include a headphone out.

The Memorex MX4137 is marketed as being extremely portable, however it weighs fourteen pounds and does not include handles or other features that are expected in devices that get moved around a lot.
