JVC RV-NB50

The RV-NB50 Kaboom is JVC's higher-end boom box portable music player. A major upgrade over JVC's low-end boom box, the 3W RD-EZ11, the system outputs up to 40W of power and is equipped with a door-enclosed iPod dock and USB port for use with portable media devices.

Retaining the cylindrical design of the original Kaboom system, it utilizes full-range, 8cm speakers and dual 13cm woofers for superior bass performance. A CD player and FM tuner with 30 presets offer other playback options. The battery-operable, 15lb system comes with a shoulder strap for greater portability. It is identical to the RV-NB52 except in its silver-on-black color scheme – the NB-52 is all black.
