JVC MX-KC50
$180.00
Released April, 2007
The Pros:FM radio tuner makes the most of faint signals and makes them sound clear. Plenty of bass support, great for music with a beat. Mids are very clear and rich, can hear all the details.
The Cons:Speakers are detachable but the cables are very short, limit the amount you can move them around. Doesn't have an equalizer, need to work with a set of EQ presets. Buttons on the front panel don't seem to follow an intuitive logic, hard to find what you're looking for.
The JVC MX-KC50 is a 3-CD compact system designed to look expensive but come at a reasonable cost. It has a power output of 400W total and 200W per channel, along with 3-way bass-reflex speakers, and a sound turbo option.

For those consumers who might have a collection of cassettes lying around, the JVC MX-KC50 can play them as well as offering a front AUX input for more modern devices. The asthetics of the box involve a standard black color, with speakers that have an artsy design - looking almost like little snowmen with three stacked circles.
