Product Shot 1 The Pros:Handsome design, nearly square shape with a bright finish makes them look great. Controls are simple and well organized. FM radio sound is well filled out and gets great reception.

The Cons:Controls at the top mean you can't reach them easily when you put the unit up on a shelf.

The JVC EX-D5 system is a compact shelf system with an executive look.  Similiar to the JVC EX-D1 system, the The JVC EX-D5 has the same beautiful cherrywood enclosure for the speakers as well as the basic optinos of a sleep timer, the multitude of play sources, and some of the control functions.

 The The JVC EX-D5 also has Audio and Video D/A converters and offers a wireless PC link with USB input so that it is able to communicate seemlessly with the users PC.  This wireless advantages allows for a cleaner looking room, without having to worry about running an extra long cord between the shelf unit and the PC.
