Fisher SLIM-1500
$60.00
Released January, 1999
The Pros:Reasonably small footprint, can fit it into a tighter space.
The Cons:Bright blue and grey combination looks pretty ugly in person. Uses a white power cord that's difficult to hide. Audio is distorted and washed out right away, no way to adjust settings to account for it.
The Fisher SLIM-1500 is a microsystem designed for an executive environment. Built at the end of the century, the system has two detachable blue 2-way speakers and a pedestal that lifts the system off the desk for a different sort of look.

Designed to also function as an alarm clock, the microsystem includes a SureWake system that delivers a graduated wake-up level.
