Denon D-F101S

$699.00 Released May, 2006

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Cool, unique, retro styling stands out from the standard black. Projects a clear, detailed sound stage--it's easy to envision where exactly in the mix each instrument is. Surprisingly solid bass performance for such a small unit.

The Cons:Poor remote control--bulky, plasticky and cheap-feeling. Could build a better-sounding (if somewhat larger) audio system for this price.

Denon manufactures the D-F101S as a premium mini system equipped with a receiver and CD player. Using a discrete configuration the amplifier holds that same high-quality sound promised in Denon’s high-end amps.
